Weekly Children’s Activities @ the Library

The first Fall session runs September 12-October 21

Children’s activities run for six week sessions. No registration is required.
Drop-ins are welcome!

Mondays at 1:30 pm          Preschool Stories:
3-5 year-olds are encouraged to join us for themed story times.

Mondays at 6:30 pm          Sleepy Stories @ Sundown:
Gentle stories geared to sending kids ages 4-7 off to sleep peacefully. PJs and stuffed animals welcome!

Tuesdays at 10:00 am  & 11:00 am          Toddler Stories:
Children 18-36 months can enjoy stories, songs, finger-plays, and educational fun. (Come early or later, we’ve doubled up on this popular program to accomodate more families!)

Tuesdays at 1:30 pm          Stories & Science
Children 24-36 months explore simple science concepts like sound, color & magnetism with toddler-friendly stories followed by a simple science experiment!

Wednesdays at 10:00 am          Babies and Books
Caregivers and infants ages birth to 18 months learn and grow together.

Thursdays at 9:30 am          Babies and Books: Early Edition
Early risers?  Attend our extra early Babies and Books on Thursday mornings!

Thursdays at 10:45 am          Action Stories
All ages. Leap, catch, stretch, and MOVE when you attend our weekly activity-focused storytime!

Thursdays from 6:00-7:00 pm          Young Artists
School-age children experience different art mediums each week through a self-directed activity allowing them to explore and develop their creative thinking skills.

Fridays at 10:30 am           Yoga Story Time
Children ages 2 to 4 and their care-givers will stretch their imaginations with stories, gentle exercise, and fun! Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat or beach towel
