The Upper Moreland Free Public Library’s website is provided as an online source of information for staff and patrons of the Library. Included on the site are a limited number of links to other web sites chosen because these links are useful to staff in answering patron questions and are useful to patrons as a shortcut to frequently-accessed sites. These sites have been selected to enrich, broaden, and complement the print and audiovisual Library materials available, and have been selected to be consistent with the Library’s Collection Development Policy. Criteria include currency, authority, usefulness, organization, and accessibility.
Resources are constantly changing on the Internet. Since these sites are not under the control of the Library, they may change or disappear. New links are added and currently selected links evaluated regularly based on the Collection Development Policy criteria.
Suggestions from the public will be considered and evaluated by the professional Library staff based on the criteria described above. Sites are not added solely upon request.
The Library’s website is not a public forum.
