What is the Adult Winter Reading Challenge?
Read or listen to at least 5 books between January 1st and March 31st 2023! Track your progress, rate titles, earn badges & prizes by logging your reads in Beanstack.

What is Beanstack?
- Beanstack is an easy-to-use online digital tracking tool, available in either a browser-based version (to use on your computer or a computer here at UMFPL) or as an app to use on a mobile device.
- Within Beanstack, we have a points style program that allows flexibility in how you participate in different challenges. Points can be earned by reading, watching videos, writing reviews, or participating in a wide range of activities including special library events or exploring our many library resources.
How to Register or Log into Beanstack:
Go to umfpl.beanstack.org
Scroll down and click on Register an Individual or Family. If you have participated in other challenges, choose Sign In
Fill in the information. Once you are registered or logged in, you will be taken to your Current Challenges page. Choose the Adult Winter Reading Challenge.
Beanstack also has a mobile app called Beanstack Tracker. Find it in the App Store or Google Play.

At Registration (starting January 1st)– Stop by the Information Desk to receive a book tracking bookmark!
Complete the Challenge– Read or listen to 5 titles between January 1, 2023 and March 31st and receive a Free Book Coupon for UMFPL’s year-round book sale.
GRAND PRIZES– One lucky participant will receive the grand prize (a Neretva Bread Maker and winter wonderland puzzle) and another the runner up reward (a BOOK TOTE full of BOOKS)! Winners drawn on April 1st, 2024.
