Contact-less Pickup appointments now being scheduled
for the week of June 14

While the library prepares to accommodate patrons in the building again we will be offering contact-less pickup of  materials.  Please contact the library to request items or schedule a pickup!

Library staff has begun calling patrons to schedule appointments to pick-up materials for requests that are ready-for-pickup at the Library. Staff will schedule appointments by phone in 15 minute time slots and staff will call to confirm your pick-up on the scheduled day. When you arrive for your appointment, please stay in your vehicle or 10 feet away from the pick-up table (if walking or biking). Once staff are back inside the Library you can retrieve your items from the table. These items will already be checked out on your library account. Please return library materials in our exterior book drop only. These items will be quarantined for at least 72 hours before they are checked in, but you will not be charged any overdue fines for those days.

Items that were checked out to you previously have been renewed until July 15 so that you can return them after you are comfortable doing so!

You can apply for a library card during the closure by filling out our Library Card application found HERE! Once you have filled out the form send it to us via email along with proof of address (a photo of your PA Driver's License, utility bill, lease agreement, etc.) to [email protected]. We can email you your Library Card number and send you the physical card in the mail so you can access our digital resources!

AARP Tax-Aide will not be scheduling in-person appointments at the Library upon re-opening. If you would like to schedule an appointment with a volunteer please visit and select "Get Help with Tax Prep. A volunteer will review your request and contact you to make a virtual appointment.

There will be NO FINES ACCRUED on materials for the length of the UMFPL building closure. All item due dates will be extended while the Library is closed.

All MCLINC libraries are NOT currently accepting donations. Please do not drop off book and media donations at this time.

Yes, our Library book drop is open and materials can be dropped off at this time! However, returned items are not being checked in regularly at this time. If you have returned items to the book drop and they are still on your account, these items will be checked in once the Library re-opens.

Yes! All holds that are ready for pick-up will still be available for pick-up up to five days after the Library re-opens. Check back with us on our website and social media outlets for information on a re-opening date!

Yes, the Library's WiFi signal has been adjusted to reach outside the building (on the patio near the Library's main entrance)! The network is called UMFPL and there is no password required.
