There are a ton of Library resources you can use from home! Check out our Online Resources and eBooks & Digital Media Pages for a full list of resources you can access online!

You can apply for a library card during the closure by filling out our Library Card application found HERE! Once you have filled out the form send it to us via email along with proof of address (a photo of your PA Driver's License, utility bill, lease agreement, etc.) to [email protected]. We can email you your Library Card number and send you the physical card in the mail so you can access our digital resources!

There will be NO FINES ACCRUED on materials for the length of the UMFPL building closure. All item due dates will be extended while the Library is closed.

Yes, our Library book drop is open and materials can be dropped off at this time! However, returned items are not being checked in regularly at this time. If you have returned items to the book drop and they are still on your account, these items will be checked in once the Library re-opens.

The MCLINC Board of Directors has temporarily suspended the ability to place holds as the number of requests being added each day are exceeding member libraries' ability to process these once we re-open to the public.
Library users can use the "Add to list" function if they wish to maintain a list of titles to request once we resume regular operations. Once holds are enabled you will be able to place requests on titles directly from your saved list.

Yes! All holds that are ready for pick-up will still be available for pick-up up to five days after the Library re-opens. Check back with us on our website and social media outlets for information on a re-opening date!

Yes, the Library's WiFi signal as been adjusted to reach outside the building (on the patio near the Library's main entrance)! The network is called UMFPL and there is no password required.
